Market Stall Terms & Conditions

By agreeing to operate a market stall at Funk n Bass, all stallholders acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Stallholder Requirements

  • Stallholders must provide a copy of their public liability insurance certificate prior to the event. Coverage must be valid for the duration of the festival and include protection against property damage, injury, or liabilities arising from their activities.

  • Stallholders are responsible for the setup, operation, and pack-down of their stall within the designated timeframes provided by the festival organizers.

 

2. Fees and Payments
Stall fees must be paid in full by January 10, 2025
Additional fees may apply for optional services, such as powered sites or extra space, as specified in the application form.


3. Trading Hours
Stalls must be set up by 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, and packed down no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, January 27th, 2025.

Stallholders must be ready to trade during the festival’s designated market operating hours. 


4. Camping and Accommodation
Camping is included with all market stall registrations. Stallholders will have access to a designated camping area near the market zone or crew camping area.
Camping is limited to the stallholder and  1 additional team members per stall. Any additional campers must be approved by the festival organizers in advance.

5. Health and Safety
Stallholders must adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of food, electrical equipment, and other goods.
All structures (e.g., tents, marquees) must be securely anchored and comply with safety standards.
Stallholders are responsible for ensuring their area is clean and free of hazards during and after the event.


6. Security and Liability
The festival grounds will be monitored by security personnel; however, the safety and security of all goods, equipment, and personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the stallholder.
The festival organizers accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to goods or personal items. Stallholders are advised to take precautions to secure their property, especially overnight.


7. Environmental Responsibility
Stallholders are encouraged to minimize waste and use eco-friendly packaging wherever possible.
Recycling and waste disposal stations will be available on-site; stallholders must properly dispose of their waste at the end of each day.


8. Conduct and Behavior
Stallholders are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward festival staff, other vendors, and attendees.
Stallholders must not sell prohibited items, including illegal substances or goods deemed inappropriate by the festival organizers.


9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by the stallholder must be submitted in writing. Refunds are at the discretion of the festival organizers and may be subject to administrative fees.
The festival reserves the right to cancel stalls due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns) without liability.


10. Access and Parking
Stallholders will be provided with specific instructions for loading and unloading goods. Vehicles must be removed from the market area after setup unless otherwise permitted.
Parking for stallholders will be available in designated areas.

Emergencies

1. Report any medical emergencies or safety concerns to Security or staff immediately. 

2. Evacuation point is in the carpark behind the hall, in case of evacuation listen to instructions from our staff.

3.  Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and locations of first aid points.

Camping and Vehicle Passes: 

If you need to camp with your stall please let us know in your application, we may be able to arrange this for you.

  • Marketstall camping will be located in the Crew Camp Area, next to the tennis courts. If this is full please speak to our volunteers who will direct you to another spot.

  • Day parking is available in the tennis courts for anyone not camping.

  • Access to the crew camping area is restricted to those with valid crew passes. 

  • Please pack lightly and carpool wherever possible to save space and reduce environmental impact.

General CAMPSITE RULES 

​Camping Access

  1. ​Attendees can only access the campsite with a valid camping pass.

 

Strictly No Open Flames or Gas Cookers

  1. Open flames, including campfires, candles, and fire pits, are strictly prohibited.

  2. Gas cookers and portable stoves are NOT permitted under any circumstances.

 

Quiet Hours

  1. Quiet hours in the campsite are between 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Please respect your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. If you want to be noisy during these times please stay in the festival grounds and enjoy the music and chill out areas provided.

Waste Management - LEAVE NO TRACE

  • Respect our land, take what you bring with you and leave the lands looking better than when we arrived.

  • All campers must use bins for waste disposal.

  • Pack out what you pack in and leave your site clean.

 

Prohibited Items

The following are not allowed in the campsite:

  • Glass containers

  • Fireworks

  • Gascookers

  • Weapons 

 

Respect and Behavior

Be respectful to fellow campers, festival staff, and security. Anti-social or aggressive behavior will result in removal from the event.

Security and Searches

Security personnel may conduct bag and vehicle searches upon entry to ensure safety.

​

Campsite Boundaries

Camp within your designated area only. Do not block roads or emergency access lanes.​​​
