Join us as we return to the lush lands of Hindmarsh Valley, South Australia for our 4th instalment of Funk n Bass Festival - Return to Earth! Established in 2021 from a deep passion for music diversity, Funk n Bass has grown into a vibrant gathering for musicians, artists and their families to come together and celebrate what it means to be human. ​

 

This year we bring you an incredible selection of live and electronic music, visual arts, market stalls, graffiti arts, and roaming performers.​​

At the core of Funk n Bass is our passion for music diversity. This year our carefully curated lineup will offer a quality selection of live bands, solo artists, electronic producers and DJs taking us on a musical journey of funk, hip hop, house, techno, DnB, Dub, world music and more! Alongside our local acts we bring some incredible talent from interstate and overseas making this our most diverse line-up to date!​​

Our Theme - "Return to Earth"

As our Funk n Bass community returns to Hindmarsh Valley, our connection to the land and to one another grows stronger. It is an opportunity to expand our creative networks, to evolve and to expand our conscious connections through creativity, music and fun.

 

Bass music hits us deep in our root or (base) chakra, connecting us deeply to our bodies and the Earth. Blending sounds of funk, world music, dub, with conscious hip hop, earth-shattering basslines and uplifting electronic beats our music will keep you grounded and connected throughout the festival.

 

Our team of talented visual artists will also bring this theme to life with live graffiti, art installations and performances.

Respect is non-negotiable.

Aggressive, intimidating, discriminatory or antisocial behaviour has no place at Funk n Bass. Look after yourself, look after each other and don’t be the person who ruins someone else’s festival experience.​​

Creating a Conscious Festival Experience​

Together with our Funk n Bass friends and family, we aim to create a safe  festival experience built on respect, connection and self-awareness. It means being intentional with our choices — from consumption and pacing ourselves, looking after our friends, and making safe plans for getting home. 

​

In alignment with this core value, we provide filtered water for refilling bottles, nourishing food stalls, first aid, chill-out spaces and alcohol-free family zones, alongside morning yoga and sound healing to close out the festival.​
